Transformuse is Ayam and ChrisTala, an ecstatic dance duo based in Berlin. They are known for their special vibe of danceable downtempo beats, blending trip-hop with Ayam’s enticing medicine song lines. Transformuse’s Ecstatic LIVE Concerts are emotive journeys that bring audiences seamlessly from meditative states to pure joy. You have never been to an ecstatic dance quite like this before.
For six years, they have toured throughout Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Costa Rica. They have shared stages with top artists like Nessi Gomes and Uria Tsur and have performed in festivals such as New Healing, Yoga United, and Xperience. They will release their highly anticipated second album “Holy Shift” in November 2024.
Ayam and ChrisTala come from very diverse backgrounds, which they merge to create an ecstatic dance experience.
With Ayam’s history as a performance artist, acrobat, jazz singer, and professional dancer, she expresses her otherworldly poetry with her soulful voice, electrifying the audience with her engaging storytelling.
ChrisTala is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, luthier, and sound healer, with a musical background that ranges from funk to dub to blues building deep productions with elements from trip-hop and folktronica. He combines live flutes and crisp electric guitar on stage to bridge ancient and modern tales.
